Ger\u00e7ek ad\u0131 <strong>Timur<\/strong> olup, &#8220;Temurlenk&#8221; ad\u0131yla da bilinir. 1336 y\u0131l\u0131nda, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz \u00d6zbekistan s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 i\u00e7inde yer alan <strong>\u015eehristan<\/strong> b\u00f6lgesinde do\u011fmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emir Timur, gen\u00e7 ya\u015flarda askeri yeteneklerini g\u00f6stererek h\u0131zla y\u00fckselmi\u015f ve <strong>Cengiz Han<\/strong>&#8216;\u0131n soyunu da y\u00fccelterek geni\u015f topraklar\u0131 ele ge\u00e7irmeye ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 14. y\u00fczy\u0131lda, <strong>Orta Asya<\/strong>, <strong>Pers<\/strong> ve <strong>Hindistan<\/strong>&#8216;a kadar geni\u015f bir co\u011frafyada egemenlik kurmu\u015f ve <strong>B\u00fcy\u00fck Sel\u00e7uklu Devleti<\/strong>&#8216;nin kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131 \u00fczerinde de y\u00f6netimi ele almay\u0131 ba\u015farm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emir Timur, askeri ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131 ve fetihleriyle tan\u0131n\u0131r. \u00d6zellikle <strong>\u0130ran<\/strong>, <strong>Irak<\/strong>, <strong>Hindistan<\/strong>, <strong>Suriye<\/strong> ve <strong>Anadolu<\/strong>&#8216;da b\u00fcy\u00fck utkular kazanm\u0131\u015f, <strong>Ba\u011fdat<\/strong>&#8216;\u0131 fethedip, <strong>Delhi<\/strong>&#8216;yi ku\u015fatarak b\u00fcy\u00fck bir imparatorluk kurmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Timur\u2019un h\u00fck\u00fcmetinde, <strong>sanat<\/strong>, <strong>mimari<\/strong> ve <strong>bilim<\/strong> \u00f6nemli bir yer tutmu\u015f, <strong>Semerkand<\/strong>&#8216;\u0131 bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve bilim merkezi haline getirmi\u015ftir. Timur, ayn\u0131 zamanda b\u00fcy\u00fck bir <strong>M\u00fcsl\u00fcmand\u0131r<\/strong> ve T\u00fcrkl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn de <strong>savunucusu<\/strong> olarak tan\u0131n\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1405 y\u0131l\u0131nda, \u00c7in&#8217;e yapmak istedi\u011fi bir sefer s\u0131ras\u0131nda <strong>\u00d6zkent<\/strong> yak\u0131nlar\u0131nda ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 yitirmi\u015ftir. \u00d6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden sonra o\u011flu <strong>\u015eahruh<\/strong> taraf\u0131ndan imparatorluk y\u00f6netilmeye devam edilmi\u015ftir.
